I am really surprised there's no mention of "resort fees" at hotels. These are very large fees that you cannot opt out of. What a complete joke. The majority of hotels in Las Vegas have them and anything labeled resort has them.
I don't hate this, but it still seems like a "fighting the symptoms" situation, because even if Ticketmaster rolls their fees up into a single shown price, I STILL have to pay the price because they're a monopoly. Seems like the juicier target would be to break Ticketmaster apart, or take some sort of anti-monopoly action in the ticketing industry.
